Outdoor Pools and Splash Pads near Medfield, Dover, and Sherborn

Walpole’s pools and splash pad have reasonable rates for non-residents. The Kingsbury Club in Medfield, Vanderbilt Club in Norwood and Dedham Community House have moderate season rates that includes use of the outdoor pool.

Those who are able to pay $1500/family or more could consider the Adirondack Club in Franklin and Life Time Athletic in Westwood for extensive outdoor options including waterslides.

Lake Beaches near Medfield, Dover, and Sherborn

Medfield and Sherborn both have town beaches that are reasonable costs for residents. Medfield’s Hinkley Pond is also open to non-residents for the day or season. Hale Reservation in Westwood is notably pricier but includes a tremendous range of activities including swim/boating lessons, crafts, and more.

Worth Driving For

Breezy Picnic Grounds in Douglas has huge waterslides and a guarded lake beach. Houghton’s Pond in Milton is free admission with a nice shallow beach, but can be crowded on weekends. There are also some great free splash pads in Braintree (Watson Park) and Belmont (Beaver Brook).
